FAQ

What kinds of bread do you carry at each market?

We are currently offering an adjusted menu in order to simplify our production schedule and take some of the stress off our bakers and market staff while we navigate this tumultuous time.

We are only selling whole loaves at this time (but you can always slice and freeze part of your loaf!).   We are selling mini-Miche (exactly half of the old size), Toasted Sesame Wheat, Polenta Pullman, Multigrain Pullman, Classic Pullman, Classic Batard, and Sprouted Rye.

Visit our weekday markets (Union Square M/W/F, Columbia on Thursday, 97th on Friday) for our baguettes! Visit our Union Square stand M/W/F for our newest addition to the menu, the seasonal daycake!

Are you attending ALL of your regular Greenmarkets?

For now, we are attending all of our regular Greenmarkets, except those at Forest Hills and Bowling Green. We are continuously assessing and adjusting our capacity, prioritizing our staff's well-being, and apologize for not being able to serve our communities in those neighborhoods at this time.

Our Domino Park on Sundays from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM is now closed, but we plan to return when it reopens in June 2021.

Are the GrowNYC Greenmarkets open and safe?

Right now, Farmers Markets are considered essential, so we’re going to keep going as long as we can. They are open-air markets with tons of precautions being taken. Each order is packed individually and touched only by a vendor wearing gloves and touching ONLY bread. We have also created a new system to keep you and our staff safe. Please keep a 6 ft distance, wear a mask, and follow the instructions of our staff and GrowNYC staff when it comes to creating a safe line!

Where else can we find your bread outside of the Greenmarket?

Our sister stores Marlow & Daughters, Marlow & Sons, Roman’s, Achilles Heel, Stranger Wines carry a selection of our loaves daily!

There are also a handful of other spots open that carry our bread in Brooklyn - see the map on the Where to Find Us page for all of the options. We will update as new options become available!

Are you accepting cash?

We VERY much prefer debit/credit cards or contactless payment (including Apple Pay, etc) for our safety and for yours. However, we will accept cash and tokens.

Do you have delivery or preorder options?

We are assessing our capacity to take on more right now and will update regularly about any new options. As of right now, you can find our bread for pickup at Union Square and delivery within New York City through Fellow Farmer.

We are also working with Farm to People, who offer delivery of our loaves.

Are you doing a starter giveaway anytime soon?

Our next starter giveaway will be on Monday, May 17th at our Union Square Greenmarket stand. Come early - we open at 8:00 AM!

Are you still taking on wholesale customers at this time?

Please email hello@shewolfbakery.com with wholesale inquiries. At the moment, we have a limited capacity for wholesale. Our delivery range is currently within Northern Brooklyn. However, we are taking on wholesale customers for pickup and delivery from our Union Square Greenmarket location (M/W/F) through Fellow Farmer.

Do you ship bread?

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to ship bread at this time. We apologize for this and sincerely appreciate your support!

Best way to stay informed about the bread?

We post on Instagram regularly and will continue to update our website.  You can also check out Grow NYC’s webpage for updates!

Thank You as Always for The Support.

We Love You All.

Stay Safe and Be Well.
